This ensures that you can easily find service and maintenance support for your boat while sailing in different cities, bays, or countries.
Mimì really handmade?
Yes. Mimì are entirely handcrafted in Italy. Traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail are paramount. This ensures that each boat is unique, delivered with high quality standards and an original character. All hulls produced at Cantiere Mimì are processed using a vacuum infusion method.
Can I have the boat completely custom-made?
Yes. Thanks to Mimì's handcrafted production structure, the interior design, seating arrangement, equipment placement, and technical equipment can be customized to customer needs. As in the Vakko L'Atelier project, special cooling systems or different concept solutions can be implemented for commercial use.
What differentiates Mimì from other brands?
Mimì combines over 50 years of Italian maritime tradition with modern engineering. Handcrafted production, timeless design, and personalization options set the brand apart from mass-produced boats.
Is a document required for boat use?
Yes, new amateur sailor certificates have been introduced:
• An “ADB 10” certificate is required to operate private boats up to 10 meters.
• An “ADB 24” certificate is mandatory for boats up to 24 meters.
📌 Obtaining these certificates requires passing theoretical and practical training and an exam.
📌 Those under 18 cannot operate alone; they must be accompanied by an adult holding an ADB 10 certificate. 📌 Graduates of maritime education programs are offered certain advantages (such as passing exams)
What is the delivery time?

Is it suitable for commercial use?
Yes. Thanks to custom production capabilities, models like the Mimì 8.5 Classic can be adapted to commercial projects. For example, special cooling systems can be added to develop gastronomy-themed projects, or it can provide tender service for your hotel/restaurant.
